3. Tap about 5-7 times on each of the following acupressure points, while repeating a reminder phrase that summarizes your pain or emotion:

  • Top of the head: “This (pain/emotion) on top of my head.”
  • Between the eyebrows: “This (pain/emotion) between my eyebrows.”
  • On the side of the eye: “This (pain/emotion) on the side of my eye.”
  • Under the eye: “This (pain/emotion) under my eye.”
  • Under the nose: “This (pain/emotion) under my nose.”
  • Under the lips: “This (pain/emotion) under my lips.”
  • Collarbone: “This (pain/emotion) on my collarbone.”
  • Under the arm: “This (pain/emotion) under my arm.”
  • Inside the wrist: “This (pain/emotion) inside my wrist.”

If it has decreased, continue tapping on the remaining points with a revised reminder phrase. If not, repeat the process with the same reminder phrase and continue until the intensity reduces to a comfortable level.
